Whether you missed the 25th "Lights Before Christmas" or whether your family just wants another chance to take in the spectacle of the region's favorite family holiday tradition, the Toledo Zoo is offering one more opportunity with a special encore presentation from 5 to 9 p.m. Jan. 7 and 8.
The encore presentation offers a chance to see the 85-foot Norway spruce, adorned with over 35,000 energy-saving LED lights, which was recently hailed as one of the tallest Christmas trees in the country by Travel + Leisure Magazine Online.
Visitors can also generate their own energy with the new Pedal Power cycles, and light up a tree by themselves.
And don't miss the amazing Dancing Lights display, featuring holiday favorites chosen by visitors earlier this year.
Presented by KeyBank, "Lights Before Christmas" features more than 1 million lights and more than 200 lighted animal images.
Admission prices are $11 for adults, $8 for children 2 to 11 and seniors 60 and older, and free for children under 2.
Note that the half-price admission offered during Frozentoesen Winter Weekends does not apply to this presentation.
