Ballweg will speak at SSL Design’s 2011 Summit in Los Angeles on Wednesday, January 19th. His presentation will address how the use of advanced, intelligent digital controls maximizes LED lighting efficiency, enhances lighting capabilities, and accelerates return on investment. SSL Design’s mission is to foster the technical and architectural design innovation needed to propel LEDs and solid state lighting into mainstream lighting applications. SSL Design’s Summit provides an opportunity for thought leadership on the direction of LED lighting by connecting lighting, facility and sustainability decision makers with high-quality LED luminaire manufacturers, providers of both LED modules/light engines and other enabling technologies.
On Wednesday, February 23rd and Thursday, February 24th, 2011, Ballweg will present at the Strategies in Light conference in Santa Clara, CA. He will share insights into how customers can harness the collective power of intelligent digital lighting and control systems. Strategies in Light is the premier annual forum for presenting current commercial developments in high-brightness LED applications.
“It is imperative that we help educate the lighting industry about integrated intelligent LED lighting and controls solutions in order for end users to reap the maximum benefits,” said Dave Ranieri, Acuity Brands Lighting Vice President and General Manager, Lithonia Lighting Commercial Indoor Products. “We are still at the very early stages of realizing the benefits of LED lighting, and when you pair LED lighting with intelligent control systems the return on investment becomes more apparent and impactful.”
