A new high output replacement LED lamp, Array™ MR16-HO, has recently been launched by Nexxus Lighting, Inc. (NASDAQ:NEXS)  This is a significant improvement of their earlier MR16 halogen lighting.  And as such, the product provides more light output, higher color rendering index, and can be dimmed using either magnetic or electronic systems.  It also does so at lower energy cost.

“Our customer base is getting educated on LED lighting,” claimed Nexxus Lighting CEO, Mike Bauer.  He stated that many of the stores that offer their product have comparison setups so people can see the difference between this product and those of lesser quality.  According to him, their new product is setting the standard for quality in this arena.  This was based on the feedback from their different accounts around the country who received samples of the new LED lighting device for display.

The Array™ MR16-HO was designed to provide 325 lumens of light with a center beam candle power of 2693.  Aside from this, color rendering is rated to be excellent.  To deliver this quality and amount of light, it uses only 6.5 watts using 12V AC.  It has a life of fifty thousand hours.  The new lamp comes in three varieties 100 degree Flood optics, Narrow Flood with 22 degrees, and 18 degree Spot.  It is compatible with both closed and open type fixtures.
