Verbatim Americas, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (MCC), will release its LED and OLED products at LightFair 2011 in Philadelphia.
Designed as hiqh quality, energy efficient replacements for incandescent and halogen lamps, Verbatim retrofit LED lamps feature clear, uniform light distributions that are fully dimmable.
Verbatim LED lamps can reduce energy consumption by over 70% and late up to 40,000 hrs. Now including a new UL wet-rated outdoor/security PAR 38 lamp. Verbatim retrofit LED lamps are available in popular sizes and warm color temperatures to duplicate the experience of traditional lamps.
Verbatim’s VxRGB LED lighting products with MCC violet chip technology is also demonstrated at LightFair . VxRGB products were designed to replicate natural light by using violet LED chips exciting red, blue and green phophors and other MCC materials to enable high quality comfortable lighting environments. Available in modules and custom lighting solutions, Verbatim violet chip products offer all of the energy saving advantages of traditional LED lighting, plus the additional features of high color rendering index, enhanced color appearance and white color tunability at constant output flux.
LightFair 2011 serves as the first United States viewing of Verbatim OLED products, which promise a paradigm shift in lighting design. Based on unique materials technology developed by MCC, Verbatim color OLED panels (branded VELVE) convey a sense of rich, yet soft and deep lighting. Verbatim VELVE OLED panels (measuring approximately 14cm x 14cm) can create comfortable living spaces via unique features including RGB color tunability, white color tuning, 0~100% dimming at any color and high CRI.
Slated for mass production in July 2011, Verbatim VELVE OLED panels are available as a sample kit to lighting designers and as modules for OEM manufacturers.
