In the morning of June 10^th,Qingdao city held an opening ceremony for the Week of Energy-saving Promotion in the main venue of City South District at Hong Kong Garden Plaza.More than 10 enterprises took part in the ceremony to promote their applications with new energy-saving technologies and products.
 
Since 2009, Qingdao has started to promote LED energy-saving lamps in families. During more than three years, City South District has promoted more than 800,000 energy-saving lamps and ranked No.1 in the whole city.
 
This year, the City South District of Qingdao will continue to grant subsidies to families who buy appointed LED energy-saving lamps. Residents can enjoy 50% of subsidy and companies 30%. The number for subsidy is to be worked out.
