nica Minolta Sensing , a colour and light measurement specialist, introduces its new illuminance spectrophotometer, the CL-500A. This new product is designed to evaluate light sources including LED and EL lighting, measure the special irradiance waveform and can provide measurements of the CRI (colour rendering index) of a light source.
The CL-500A is the first portable illuminance spectrophotometer to conform to both DIN and JIS standards. One of the applications of the instrument is the measurement of CRI and light levels of street lighting, particularly new LED systems.
