te-On Technology, a leading provider of imaging products, enclosures, power supplies and LEDs based in Taiwan, announced consolidated revenues of NT$10.43 billion (US$349.23 million) for June. This represents a 2% increase on month and 4% on year. Among major product lines, sales of power supply devices achieved the highest level in 15 months, while LED lighting products saw a growth of 300% compared to the same month of 2011, according to the company.
For the first six months of 2012, revenues amounted to NT$58.1 billion, which were level with a year earlier.
Sales of power supply products grew 15% sequentially and 10% on year to a 15-month high in June, said the company. Factors including growing shipments of new models to clients and a continued expansion of the firm's high-end power management systems for cloud computing contributed to the high growth in the sector in the month, added the company.
Additionally, steady orders and a complete resumption of the company's LED plant in Thailand helped push sales of LED products in June, the company noted.
