LED projects that are likely to be approved for Guangdong Province’s 3^rd round of Special Funding for New Industries Development were announced on August 5^th. Totally there are 35 projects across the province, including three in Foshan.

Experts summoned by Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology and Finance Bureau,ect. have conducted review of written application submission, onsite check and listened to applicators’ replies before rolling out the 35 possible-winners for the Special Fund across the province.

The selected 3 projects in Foshan include: Foshan Nationstar’s “High-efficiency LED expitaxy and chip configuration design and key technology R&D”, Foshan Blue Rocket Electronics Co.,Ltd’s “New mounting LED full-automation online monitoring and classification & packing equipment”, and Nanhai District Lianhe Guangdong New Light Source Industry Innovation Center’s “LED standard optical components R&D and implementation”.
