Philips Lumileds has rolled out LUXEON K array, a new white LED array. The new arrays can free LED system producers from the tiresome LED binning process and reduce inventory requirements as well as time to market.
 
The new LUXEON K arrays come under a 3-step MacAdam ellipse and provide higher consistency in lumen per watt as a result of forward voltage as well as flux ranges.
