GlacialLight introduces energy efficient LED flood light with passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor

GlacialLight, a division of experienced technology manufacturer, GlacialTech Inc., has launched expanded GL-FL12S, a 14W AC-input LED flood light with a passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor available in two color temperatures.

With a PIR sensor, the GL-FL12S helps to save energy cost by only turning on when needed. In all indoor and outdoor retail, commercial and industrial lighting applications, users can adjust the GL-FL12S to turn on or off to a minimum of 3 LUX.

Not only does the GL-FL12S save power by automatically turning on and off according to the user's preferences, it also converts electricity into light with unbeatable efficiency. As a result, compared to equivalent mercury flood lights, these LED flood lights consume far less power, with a luminous efficacy of up to 53.6 lumens per watt. Additionally, the GL-FL12S has an extremely long life span of 30,000 hours. With a typical eight hours a day usage pattern, these LED flood lights can provide more natural, gentler light with no perceptible flickering for over a decade without needing a replacement, slashing maintenance costs.

The GL-FL12S is available in two color variants. The GL-FL12S-CW provides bright daylight illumination at 6000K with a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 70, while the GL-FL12S-WW illuminates with a warm 3000K beam and a CRI around 85.

Both versions of the GL-FL12S, GL-FL12S-WW (3000K) and GL-FL12S-CW (6000K), have an AC input voltage range of 100-240 volts. They provide 650 and 750 lumens of light, respectively.

With the environment in mind GlacialLight designed the GL-FL12S flood light to contain no hazardous chemicals, such as mercury, and to create no harmful radiation emissions such as UV or IR, making them it eco-friendly than traditional lighting. This DC input flood light series is also more economically friendly, consuming less power while providing more light than traditional lighting products.
