udio.3 Fresnel and the compact Profile Jr. at the IBC 2012 in Amsterdam.
The RevEAL Studio.3 Fresnel is the third generation of Prism's Studio LED line, which has already proven popular with television studios and other venues around the world. The Studio.3 Fresnel is designed to behave just like a traditional Fresnel, with a wide variable beam angle (10-90°
)
and the ability to shape the beam using standard barn doors. The fixture has a tunable color temperature from 2700-8000K and produces 9,700 lumens of light, giving an output comparable to a traditional 2kW tungsten Fresnel while consuming just 200W of power.
With the Studio.3, designers have a variety of ways to control the light in the manner that best suits their working style. Via local, DMX, or Ethernet controls, the user can control the color, CCT, intensity, and the magenta/green output of white light to match other sources. The Studio.3 joins the Studio range that includes the Studio.1 and Studio.2 color mixing Fresnels.
The RevEAL Profile Jr. is a new compact LED profile spot that offers the strengths of Prism's award-winning RevEAL product line, in a new compact design that is compatible with existing industry-standard lens tubes with high output performance.
Broadcast lighting designers have been specifying the RevEAL fixtures for a number of recent television projects including KCET, Union Tribune Television, the U.S. Open Tennis Tournament, and Vermont TV. Television LDs have been successfully mixing in Prism LED technology with their other conventional fixtures.
With the Prism RevEAL Studio.3 Fresnel and RevEAL Profile Jr., Prism has again brought to market cutting edge units that responds to the needs of designers while also advancing the applications of LED technology.
