China Electric Manufacturing Corporation, a leading lighting equipment maker based in Taiwan, is scheduled to sell LED lighting to Southeast Asia in the fourth quarter.
 
The company says it has been mainly promoting exports of LED bulbs, LED tubes, and T5 lights to Southeast Asia.
 
There is ample business potential in Southeast Asia seeing the LED lighting penetration there is only 5% to 8%, with that in Taiwan to reach estimated 30% to 40% in 2012, and even higher rates in Japan, the United States, and Europe.
