e Ministry of Science and Technology recently published “

tice for carrying out 2012 financial subsidy work for promotion of semiconductor lighting products ”
,
which points out that this financial subsidy accommodates indoor lighting demands of large users like government house, office buildings, hospitals, hotels, shopping malls, stations, airports, etc. and outdoor lighting demands of roads, streets, squares, tunnels, etc.
The “

tice”

lso unveiled enterprises that have won the bid of 2012 financial subsidy for promotion of LED lighting products. GG LED has reviewed all these bid-winning enterprises as the table below shows. GG LED finds that this bid involves 39 bid-winning enterprises and 8.73 million LED lighting products, of which, up to 7.85 million units are indoor lighting, accounting for nearly 90% of the total quantity in promotion. GLII contributes it to the incandescent phase-out policy.
GG LED finds that Kingsun and Lampearl tie for first place in this bid in terms of total bid-winning product quantity. Involved indoor lighting products are 400,000 units and the total quantity is 470,000 units, with combined quantity accounting for around 10.8% of the total. Sunshine ranks the second with 430,000 bid-winning products, or proportion 5% of the total. Next are Opple (400,000 units), Foshan Lighting (400,000 units), Unilumin (360,000 units), Yaming (360,000 units), Elec-tech (330,000 units), Handson (320,000 units), NationStar (320,000 units), etc. (refer to the table below for detail).

learly rules that bid-winning enterprises must strictly stick to contact procurement price in promotion of bid-winning models only. In addition, bid-winning enterprises have to guarantee the product quality in compliance with promised technology index and information truly reflected. With the situation that promoted products are found unqualified, information is fraud and repeated complains is received from end users, related enterprises will be punished according to the agreement.

mphasizes that the promotion work will rely on bid-winning enterprises largely, instead of cooperation between these enterprises and local governments.
