hat the company received a Notice issued by the Financial Bureau of Jining on July 20
th.
According to the notice, the company has been recorded in the list of misconducting and banned in bidding for the government procurement of Jining for 3 years and fined RMB 60,000 for cheating in bidding.
According to the announcement, from 2008 to June of 2012, the aggregate revenue of the company in Jining accounted for 0.01% of the main business revenue in the same period.
According to the Notice, Everfine cheated in the bidding for procurement of laboratory equipments (No.JNGP/2011/G0045) of Jining National Semiconductor and Displaying Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center together with another two companies. Everfine provided the two companies with a total of RMB 120,000 for paying the bid bond. And the three companies conspired and colluded in bidding by offering bidding price in a similar way. Their behavior breached the Clause 3 under the Article 77 of the Government Procurement Law of the People's Republic of China.
The company stated that it has accepted the punishment, paid the penalty and punished related salesmen. The company promised to learn the lesson and put an end to such behaviors by adopting stricter management measures to normalize the process of bidding work.
The company also disclosed in another announcement that its Testing and Calibration Centerhas obtained the certificate issued by CNAS. The certificate empowers the Testing and Calibration Center to carry out the testing service in line with corresponding accreditation criteria and will also enhance the market competitiveness of the company.
