Unity Opto Technology Co., Ltd’s LED photoelectric device project has broken ground in Beijing Digital TV Industry Park. With an investment of 25 million dollar and as an important supporting project for BOE’s 8.5 G production line, this project encompasses an area of around 50,000 square meters and projected capacity reaches 500KK per month. When the designed capacity is achieved, annual output will hit 700 million yuan, with tax being about 30 million yuan.

This project will further perfect the support system in Beijing Digital TV Industry Park and enhance the overall competitiveness of panel display industry in the development area.

With occupancy of over 50% in local Taiwan market, Unity is a main supplier of LED TV to Korean Samsung and LG. Starting early this year, it expanded its supply to Sony and Sharp. When it comes to mainland market, Unity offers LED lighting to North China.
