South Korea based EG Lightings Company has cooperated with a heating and power plant in Angren, Uzbekistan to establish NUR Company with one million dollars. The new company will locate in Angren’s special industrial park and is expected to produce LED lighting products for industry and household applications in August, 2013. And the South Korean company will hold 51% share and other 49% for Uzbekistan’s.
 
Firstly, this joint venture enterprise plans to import accessories from South Korea to make streetlights, and it expects to manufacture 2 million units per year. Secondly, it schedules to make products localization. Thirdly, it will come to cooperate with Uzbekistan’s chemical industry company, automobile industry company as well as electronic industry association to develop new LED lightings for automotive, home, office, advertising applications and so on.
