Some research agency published a market report about OLED lighting material and forecasts that in 2018, OLED lighting material revenue will exceed 1.3 million dollar and moving into 2019, OLED lighting will be widely used in general lighting market.

In the space of OLED lighting packaging, despite of 1 million dollar in 2012, over 50 million dollar will be achieved in 2015 and 450 million dollar in 2019.

This report points out that although current market share of functional OLED material (including emitter material, host materials, barrier material, transporting material and injection material) is only 1.7 million dollar, it is expected to grow to more than 1.1 million dollar in 2019. Machinable micromolecule OLED material market will reach nearly 400 million dollar in 2019, which meanwhile will help cut down OLED lighting cost.

For OLED lighting application, currently 95% is used for special lighting, such as luxury lamps, but up to 2019, 80% OLED lighting material will be used in residential and commercial lighting, and 18% will be used in automotive lighting. OLED lighting material market is projected to achieve 2.8 billion dollar in 2019.
