On the morning of November 8^th, Foshan Nanhai policemen investigated a rental house at Lizhuang, Dali Town, which is a underground workshop suspected of producing fake “NVC” lighting products. The preliminary estimate about involved value is over 50,000 yuan. 7 suspects were caught at scene, with Mr. Zhu and Li now under criminal detection. 
 
The reporter accompanied the police in this action and found that this underground workshop was located at 12^th lane, New district, Lizhuang Village. When policemen broke in, 5 workers on operation on the first floor got into a total panic. The house was a mess with end products labeled “NVC”, semi-finished products and simple and crude equipment. These workers kept silence in response to policemen’s enquiries. 

 According to the police, the site was found to manufacture fake “NVC” end lighting products, semi-finished products and accessories: over 10,000 sparkling mountings and over 4,000 tubes that had “NVC” label and pattern, over 5,000 semi-finished aluminum mountings, over 17,000 mounting accessories and over 19,000 mounting boxes that had “NVC” label. Also seized at the scene were 4 packaging equipments.

7 suspects, including worker Zhu and Li, were captured, who are all from Pingxiang, Jiangxi. The examination indicates that these suspects started to counterfeit “NVC” lighting products since this August. Mr. Li holds responsibility of purchasing raw materials and shipment, while Mr. Li is in charge of work arrangement at the workshop. This case has been set as registered trademark counterfeiting, involving over 500,000 yuan in value. Main suspects of Mr. Zhu and Li have been taken to custody. Further investigation on this case will be carried out.
