Kingsun announced in the evening of November 20 that recently, the company, in partnership with SemiLEDs, has participated in the open bid for procurement item of Guangzhou subway demonstration project.

According to "Bid candidates publicity" unveiled by Guangzhou Construction Project Bidding Center, the combo of Kingsun and SemiLEDs is the first candidate for the bid.  The bid amount is 5.68303 million yuan.

According to the cooperation agreement, LED light source needed in the project will be purchased from SemiLEDs and specific sum will refer to the contract signed. LED fixtures included in the project will be supplied by Kingsun. The bid amount of 5.68303 belongs to Kingsun.

Kingsun said, the would-be success in this bid for Guangzhou subway demonstration engineering will further improve the company's competitiveness and influence in LED lighting application for Guangzhou subway and as well, will serve a good start for  seeking for follow-up Guangzhou subway LED lighting projects (new or retrofit).

According to another announcement, Kingsun have just participated in the bid for LED luminaire EMC project "HNZM-LED-1" of Huning highway lighting test engineering. The "Bid winning publicity" shows Kingsun is a candidate for this bid. Involved amount comes to around 4.5 million yuan. Plus the procurement item of Guangzhou subway demonstration engineering, it totals 10,18303 million yuan.
