Fujian Liancheng Industry park targets a total area of 8.4 sq.km. and now have completed development and construction of 4.32 sq.km. in the first phase. Totally, 51 enterprises have settled in the park, including 10 photoelectric enterprises like Fujian Xinjing Guangyu, Tandberg, Foxit and Chuangxian.

Next, Liancheng County will rely on the leading role of Fujian Xinjing Gangyu to cultivate photoelectric industry with all resources of the county and accelerate the construction of 2,000 mu Strait photoelectric industry park which consists of 3 areas- production area, living area and business area.

Fujian Xinjing Jingmi Gangyu Technology Co.Ltd. has eliminated the technological bottleneck to grow large-diameter sapphire crystal using its own crystal growth equipment and TSTGT technology. Following the rolling out of 9 kg, 18 kg and 35 kg crystals, the company has successfully developed 80 kg crystal and achieved mass-production in March, 2012. The 80 kg crystal has intact appearance and is colorless, free of bubble and dispersion.

 The company will adopt its patented technologies with independent intellectual property and set 528 crystal growth furnaces to produce 35 kg and 80kg large-diameter sapphire crystals. Up to the end of this year, it will form a production capacity of 1,000 sapphire missile fairings and 20 million 2-8-inch sapphire substrates.
      
The company’s president said that during the construction period, based on the mass-production of 80 kg sapphire, it will further its effort in R&D of 150 to 200 kg sapphire equipment and crystals. He added that the companyis now negotiating with a competitiveTaiwan-based photoelectric enterprise on cooperation concerning downstream products.

The company attaches the importance to the cooperation with its counterparts from Taiwan and strives to build the largest sapphire process base in the world within 5 to 10 years.
