On Nov. 25^th, the board of NVC Lightingannounced that Zhang Kaipeng of Schneider has resigned from the post of CEO and member of the temporary operation committee. NVC President Yan Yan stated that Wu Changjiang, chief of the temporary operation committee, “would presumably not”succeed as the CEO. Wu Changjiang said it’s up to the board.
 
Does the leave of Zhang Kaipeng mean that Wu Changjiang will take over as CEO and return to the board?
 
Yan Yan said Wu Changjiang “would presumably not”succeed as the CEO. He also indicated they have their CEO successor designated but he didn’t reveal more information on the successor.
 
Wu Changjiang said that it’s up to the board andif he will return the board is not important. He also pointed out that everything is fine with the company and the sales target is expected to achieve, “I’ll keep my word.”
 
At present, NVC has a total of six board members. The non-independent directors include YanYan and Lin Heping of SAIF, Zhuhai of Schneider and MuYu. The independent non-executive directors include Wang Jinsui and Rong Zijiang.
