Rongtai Optoelectronic Technology Co.,Ltd., via its LED epitaxial wafer industry chain project, has completed the first phase of construction and workshops of packaging and application have started pilot production. Currently, chip and wafer workshop is going through interior decoration and equipment commissioning and is expected to launch production in the middle of the next year.

Rongtaiplans to invest 4 billion yuan in building over 40 blue light large LED epi-wafer production lines, supporting blue and green light chip production lines, 15 SMD high-power packaging production lines and 6 application product production lines. Until now, Rongtai has received 8 LED-related patents at home, including 2 patents of invention.
