Changelight said in an announcement that Yangzhou Changelight, its wholly-owned subsidiary, has signed a terrestrial concentrator contract with HUANGHE HYDROPOWER DEVELOPMENT CO., LTD. “ The procurement contract on 100MWp grid-connected PV power station 3MWp high power concentrator system equipments of Golmud, Qinghai phase II” has already been received by Yangzhou Changelight, with a total contract value of 38.401686 million yuan.
 
Changelight’s business portfolio includes the R&D, manufacturing and sales of semiconducting optoelectronic product, which contains two types of epitaxial wafers and chips – high light InGaAlP LED and triple-junction GaAs solar cell, while LED chip occupying a large part of revenue, reaching 83% in 2012H1. Due to the downfall of chip prices caused by decreased demand and fierce competition, overall profit margins have been on the decrease since early 2012.
