Lanzhou Municipal Government and China Silian Instrument Group Corporation Limited (SIC Group) have recently signed an agreement on the high-tech industry base project in New District of Lanzhou.

With the total planned investment of RMB 2.5bn, this project targets the construction of production lines for LED lighting equipment, high-definition TV set top boxes and chips, city heat supply gauges and concentrating solar power systems. It can achieve annual capacity of 3.2mn sets of LED luminaires, 500,000 city heat supply gauges and 500,000 high-definition TV set top boxes. Annual sales revenue will reach RMB 2.66bn and 2,000 job opportunities will be created.
