China Fujian-based Xinjing Corundum has successfully launched the 35kg-class synthetic sapphire project aiming annual output of 1400 and won the Outstanding Award of Provincial Technology Innovation.

According to Liu Zhuping, President of Xinjin Corundum, with nearly 8 years of efforts, his R&D team developed Top Seed-crystal Temperature Gradient Technology (TSTGT) and special crystal production equipment with independent intellectual property rights in 2009, marking a milestone at home and abroad.
