Cooper Lighting will joins California collaborate with the Center and affiliates to spearhead projects that accelerate the deployment and commercialization of energy-efficient lighting and daylighting technologies.
As part of the University of California, Davis, the CLTC is a research, development and demonstration facility established through a collaborative effort between the California Energy Commission, the U.S. Department of Energy and the National Electrical Manufacturers Association. Through active partnerships with government, industry, and academia, the Center includes full-scale lighting and daylighting application laboratories for the development and demonstration of next-generation, emerging lighting and daylighting technologies. The Center also works with legislative leaders and regulatory agencies on energy policy, lighting codes and building standards.
